She was the first female chef in the United States to be awarded two Michelin stars, and the first female executive chef in Indonesia at the Intercontinental Hotel in Jakarta. Her Atelier Crenn, a laboratory in San Francisco where she conceived her Poetic Culinaria, earned the first star after less than a year from opening, and the second one just a year later.
Born in Versailles, after touching the various corners of the planet, she fell in love with California, where today, in addition to managing the Atelier, she is committed to the launch of the new Petit Crenn, which will open in early August.
From French breakfast to dinner, the new project will be an opportunity to enjoy the poetry of Dominique at affordable prices. We met Chef Crenn at Parabere Forum, the Bilbao conference that brought women together from all over the world with a decisive role in gastronomy.
She told us, amongst other things, how she manages social networks by herself being one of the most-followed female chef on Instagram, and what she thinks about a certain type of blogger.
