Get ready to get your fingers sticky: gourmet street food returns to the rolling hills of Chianti Senese. On Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, the charming village of Villa a Sesta (Castelnuovo Berardenga) hosts the 11th edition of dit'unto®, the celebrated festival "of eating with your hands" that has become a highlight of the Tuscan autumn calendar.
A day dedicated to experiencing the local territory at a relaxed pace, where fine dining meets the warmth and authenticity of a country village festival.
Food Stands and Michelin Stars
For this 11th edition, the tasting trail features over 40 food and wine stands offering a wide selection ranging from traditional Tuscan classics to creative street food interpretations by acclaimed chefs.

Show Cooking, Performances, and Cinema
Complementing the culinary lineup is a varied schedule of side events:
- Cucina in piazza (from 12:30 PM): Live show cooking featuring pastry world champion Rossano Vinciarelli alongside Michelin-starred chefs Iside De Cesare, Valentino Cassanelli, and Niccolò Palumbo.
- Street Entertainment: Roaming performances by Alice Valentini ("Dive") and children's entertainment by Sara Selano (Carota).
- Assaggi di cinema: A new film series presenting work by directors Adele Betti and Pietro Lorenzini.
- Live Music & DJ Set: Live concert by Art. 659 starting at 3:00 PM, followed at 5:30 PM by an open-air DJ set with Paolo Rosia and saxophonist Piero Paolini.
Tickets, Pre-sales, and Logistics
Entry to the village is free. Tasting access is managed via tickets available online at www.ditunto.it starting in mid-September, on-site the day before (Saturday, October 10), or directly on event day.
A free shuttle bus service runs continuously from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM between Villa Nuova and San Gusmè. Special bus connections from Siena (Penny Viale Toselli area) are also available, with schedule details on the official website.
